UNITED IN A TIME OF CRISIS
Colombia has been in COVID-19 lockdown for over 4 months now. Most of businesses are closed and leaving houses is restricted. This situation leaves millions of people without any source of income.
In cities thousands are living on the streets without food and shelter. Among them, homeless, displaced indigenous, and refugees from Venezuela who have fled their country escaping humanitarian crises. For these people it was bad before. It got much worse now.
WHAT WE ARE DOING ABOUT IT
IT ALL STARTS WITH THE WILL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We are a group of volunteers from Colombia, France, England, Spain, Germany and Poland based in Cali, Colombia's third biggest city. We collect basic food supplies (rice, eggs, sugar, grains) and distribute them to provide emergency assistance to the most vulnerable people affected by the quarantine.

With the government continuously extending the quarantine and with extremely limited public help, many people do not eat for days and are left on their own.
Confined in their houses, running out of food, many are desperately hanging red flags in front of their windows as a sign of despair.
